Proposed mechanism: AOD9604 was developed to isolate metabolic/lipolytic actions attributed to the GH C-terminus without full GH-receptor growth effects. Mechanism not yet fully established; development did not yield a registered obesity drug.
Clinical development did not establish a favourable enough efficacy/safety package for registration as an obesity medicine.
