What is it?

A laboratory peptide with extensive preclinical injury-model literature and very limited high-quality human trials. It is not an approved medicine. Longevity Protocol does not sell BPC-157.

Synthetic fragment derived from a gastric protein sequence studied mainly in animal models of injury.

Mechanism of action

Mechanism not yet fully established.

Proposed mechanism: BPC-157 has been reported in preclinical literature to influence angiogenesis, nitric oxide signalling and growth-factor related repair pathways. Binding to a single validated human drug receptor comparable to GLP-1 agonists has not been established. Mechanism not yet fully established. Observed animal-model findings should not be read as proven human tissue repair.

Unknown at pharmaceutical quality, dose and route in well-controlled human studies. Anecdotal internet use is not evidence.
